Science Program Mission Statement

Our purpose is to educate and guide all students to apply their knowledge of science to become responsible stewards in God's ever changing world.

Science Program Standards

Standard #1: Inquiry

  • Investigate using scientific knowledge to develop and communicate an understanding of the world.

Standard #2:  Systems

  • Distinguish, analyze and organize components that form a whole.

Standard #3: Change and Constancy

  • Discriminate between conditions or values that can or cannot be changed.

Standard #4: Perspectives

  • Develop an understanding of historical, personal and social issues as related to science.
