Purpose Statement

The purpose of this standards-based curriculum is to assist administrators and teachers of the Archdiocese of Omaha in the instruction of math in the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Omaha. The K-12 Math guide contains clear expectations for math education standards which align with the Nebraska State Standards of Mathematics.

The math curriculum will include content from the following five strands:

1. Numeration/Number Sense
2. Computation/Estimation
3. Measurement
4. Geometry/Spatial Concepts
5. Data Analysis, Probability and Statistical ConceptsAlgebraic Concepts
