Purpose Statement
The purpose of this standards-based curriculum is to assist administrators and teachers of the Archdiocese of Omaha in the instruction of language arts in the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Omaha. The K-12 language arts guide contains clear expectations for language arts education standards which align with the Nebraska State Language Arts Standards.
The language arts curriculum will include content from the following four strands:
- Reading
- Writing
- Listening
- Speaking
